Narrative:
Captain volunteered to do the pre-flight; since I was the pilot flying. I programmed the box while he was outside. He came back told me he noticed 2 fasteners missing on the left over wing emergency exit slide. He immediately called [maintenance] and spoke about his concerns. The maintenance supervisor came out and inspected the aircraft. [Maintenance] came to the cockpit and stated indeed 2 fasteners were missing on the critical left over wing panel he quoted 'and you have a 3rd fasteners that was gluded in place.' [maintenance] also stated that the emergency exit slide panel had shifted down and quoted 'getting ready to depart the aircraft'.
