Narrative:
We pushed from gate. We were told to hold engine start. We then needed clearance back to gate because they improperly loaded our hazmat material. 15 minutes later as we were trying to get towed to a new gate. They called and magically said it's all good. You can continue. The warm and fuzzy did not come back and both the captain and I wanted confirmation that the material was stored correctly. So; we started the engine taxied to another gate and ground popped the cargo door and confirmed or corrected the loading.
