Narrative:
This flight was a trip built by scheduling to operate a 767 into ZZZ that I picked up on open time as a 757/first officer (first officer). I have previously flown a 757 into ZZZ; but was not aware of a restriction to use this only as an alternate airport for 767. I was later made aware that the [company ops spec] certificate restricted 767 aircraft from using this airport as an alternate only. In the future; we as flight crew and scheduling should pay closer attention to the operations permitted in the certificate.
