Narrative:

Air carrier flight from tul-dfw. FAA air carrier inspector in jump seat. APU placarded inoperative. Inspector felt MEL requirements pertaining to APU had not been satisfied; i.e., no maintenance entry in E6 stating CSD's oil level checked and no crew entry stating a.C. X-tie checked. I assumed dfw maintenance had checked CSD's when they placarded APU the previous leg. MEL does not say that log entries be made after CSD and x-tie checks.
