Narrative:

Upon landing on the highway at clear sky lodge a car appeared around the bend in the road. I applied power and went around for another landing. The car was cleared by 100' elevation, but I saw them come and write down my tail #south. I was landing at clear sky lodge because I was low on fuel. I had somehow lost all of the fuel in my reserve belly tank, and when I realized I was out of fuel in my reserve tank I decided to land on the highway for fuel. I don't consider the occurrence a situation in which anyone was in danger. I am reporting this because the veh drove back and wrote down my tail #south. I circle the highway and saw no veh. Either it came out from a side road or I just missed seeing it. I was in the bush prior to landing at the lodge and some brush or rocks must have knocked my quick drain open because it was open and all my fuel had drained out. Very strong headwinds also slowed us up! Otherwise I could have flown further to an airport for gas. Clear sky lodge is localized in a remote area of ak, mile 270 of the parks highway.

Narrative: UPON LNDG ON THE HWY AT CLEAR SKY LODGE A CAR APPEARED AROUND THE BEND IN THE ROAD. I APPLIED PWR AND WENT AROUND FOR ANOTHER LNDG. THE CAR WAS CLRED BY 100' ELEVATION, BUT I SAW THEM COME AND WRITE DOWN MY TAIL #S. I WAS LNDG AT CLEAR SKY LODGE BECAUSE I WAS LOW ON FUEL. I HAD SOMEHOW LOST ALL OF THE FUEL IN MY RESERVE BELLY TANK, AND WHEN I REALIZED I WAS OUT OF FUEL IN MY RESERVE TANK I DECIDED TO LAND ON THE HWY FOR FUEL. I DON'T CONSIDER THE OCCURRENCE A SITUATION IN WHICH ANYONE WAS IN DANGER. I AM RPTING THIS BECAUSE THE VEH DROVE BACK AND WROTE DOWN MY TAIL #S. I CIRCLE THE HWY AND SAW NO VEH.
