Narrative:
Unanticipated INS landing required at ccr due to WX. Confusion during ATC handoff travis approach to ccr tower. High cockpit workload at unfamiliar field resulted in very sloppy descent through cloud layer on approach prior to cancellation and uneventful landing. I was high on approach, did a 360 degree turn to lose altitude and landed.
