Narrative:
Flying second leg of first student solo x-country from marion to smithfield, in. Intended to fly around baer field arsa at fwa. I was on course of 45 degrees northwest of city of fwa. Intended on flying 113 wolf lake VOR to smith. Put 130 degree right on VOR by mistake and flew into fwa baer field arsa. I had called up smith field unicom and was advised of active runway (#5). I announced my position to smith unicom traffic. I entered baer field traffic for runway 5. The sun reflecting off the new runway surface made it difficult to see the 'X' on runway 5 on approach end. I was on short final when I could clearly see the 'X.' at this time I noticed I was at a larger field than smith and felt under the circumstances, the best thing to do was to land on 5 and report to the tower, which I did. I feel this was 100% pilot error. I might have seen the 'X' sooner if a black material was used instead of white.

Title: GA SMA UNAUTH PENETRATION OF AIRSPACE. WRONG ARPT LNDG ON A CLOSED RWY.
Narrative: FLYING SECOND LEG OF FIRST STUDENT SOLO X-COUNTRY FROM MARION TO SMITHFIELD, IN. INTENDED TO FLY AROUND BAER FIELD ARSA AT FWA. I WAS ON COURSE OF 45 DEGS NW OF CITY OF FWA. INTENDED ON FLYING 113 WOLF LAKE VOR TO SMITH. PUT 130 DEG R ON VOR BY MISTAKE AND FLEW INTO FWA BAER FIELD ARSA. I HAD CALLED UP SMITH FIELD UNICOM AND WAS ADVISED OF ACTIVE RWY (#5). I ANNOUNCED MY POS TO SMITH UNICOM TFC. I ENTERED BAER FIELD TFC FOR RWY 5. THE SUN REFLECTING OFF THE NEW RWY SURFACE MADE IT DIFFICULT TO SEE THE 'X' ON RWY 5 ON APCH END. I WAS ON SHORT FINAL WHEN I COULD CLEARLY SEE THE 'X.' AT THIS TIME I NOTICED I WAS AT A LARGER FIELD THAN SMITH AND FELT UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES, THE BEST THING TO DO WAS TO LAND ON 5 AND RPT TO THE TWR, WHICH I DID. I FEEL THIS WAS 100% PLT ERROR. I MIGHT HAVE SEEN THE 'X' SOONER IF A BLACK MATERIAL WAS USED INSTEAD OF WHITE.
