Narrative:
I was left-downwind for P19 runway 17 (self-announcing on CTAF). There was a cessna on final and another aircraft on the ground performing pre-flight. We were all on CTAF and audible.a mooney flew over the approach end of 17 below pattern altitude in an attitude and heading that put him on a direct collision course with my aircraft at approximately 45 deg left of head-on. I took evasive action by increasing throttle and pulling up; clearing the mooney by less than 200 feet. The mooney continued on in the general direction of chd.
