Narrative:
Was cleared to land on runway 18 on 3 mi final on river visibility approach. Was advised at same time that an aircraft was cleared to land on runway 21 and would hold short of runway 18. After T/D, tower advised us to continue rollout through intersection of runway 21 and made a right turn on alpha or charlie taxiway and hold short of runway 21. I cleared runway 18 on taxiway alpha and began taxiing westbound on alpha. I did not recognize the approach of the runway 21 intersection until I was parking into the intersection, even though the brakes were applied abruptly. I elected to vacate the intersection quickly by proceeding through west/O clearance. The landing aircraft was observed on final approximately 100' AGL. At a closure rate of 100'/second average and a minimum of 4500' sep. When decision was made, there was no imminent danger to either aircraft. The first officer was occupied with after landing duties.

Narrative: WAS CLRED TO LAND ON RWY 18 ON 3 MI FINAL ON RIVER VIS APCH. WAS ADVISED AT SAME TIME THAT AN ACFT WAS CLRED TO LAND ON RWY 21 AND WOULD HOLD SHORT OF RWY 18. AFTER T/D, TWR ADVISED US TO CONTINUE ROLLOUT THROUGH INTXN OF RWY 21 AND MADE A RIGHT TURN ON ALPHA OR CHARLIE TXWY AND HOLD SHORT OF RWY 21. I CLRED RWY 18 ON TXWY ALPHA AND BEGAN TAXIING WBND ON ALPHA. I DID NOT RECOGNIZE THE APCH OF THE RWY 21 INTXN UNTIL I WAS PARKING INTO THE INTXN, EVEN THOUGH THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED ABRUPTLY. I ELECTED TO VACATE THE INTXN QUICKLY BY PROCEEDING THROUGH W/O CLRNC. THE LNDG ACFT WAS OBSERVED ON FINAL APPROX 100' AGL. AT A CLOSURE RATE OF 100'/SECOND AVERAGE AND A MINIMUM OF 4500' SEP. WHEN DECISION WAS MADE, THERE WAS NO IMMINENT DANGER TO EITHER ACFT. THE F/O WAS OCCUPIED WITH AFTER LNDG DUTIES.
