Narrative:
I was working the front pit loading. My lead had started to load the dg in the forward pit and instructed me to load them in pit 2; after we had dispatched the aircraft ramp lead had discovered that dry ice had been [erroneously] loaded into pit 2. Operations then proceeded to try to contact the aircraft before it was inflight; he was unable to contact aircraft before it was off the ground.

Title: Ramp personnel reported the discovery of a Dry Ice Pack that had been erroneously loaded on an aircraft after the flight had departed.
Narrative: I was working the front pit loading.
