Narrative:
During climb-out the captain's airspeed and altimeter failed along with an oral warning. Performed qrc and then QRH procedures for unreliable airspeed. Climbed above IMC conditions and proceeded to nearest suitable VMC airport. During descent the eec (electronic engine controller) alt annunciators illuminated when recal selected. [Coordinated with ATC] and landed uneventfully.
