Narrative:
On IFR flight plan from gnv to lex in small aircraft. Experienced almost immediate loss of electrical power at 8000' while over london, ky. In contact with ZID until power loss. Unable to contact center for approximately 10 mins until problem was resolved by recycling master switch and restoring electrical power. No problem with aircraft instruments or power plant. Followed communications out procedures by visly looking for london airport to land. After reestabilshing power, proceeded to london and lexington west/O further incident.

Narrative: ON IFR FLT PLAN FROM GNV TO LEX IN SMA. EXPERIENCED ALMOST IMMEDIATE LOSS OF ELECTRICAL PWR AT 8000' WHILE OVER LONDON, KY. IN CONTACT WITH ZID UNTIL PWR LOSS. FOLLOWED COMS OUT PROCS BY VISLY LOOKING FOR LONDON ARPT TO LAND. AFTER REESTABILSHING PWR, PROCEEDED TO LONDON AND LEXINGTON W/O FURTHER INCIDENT.
