Narrative:
Departed ryy bound for centre alabama. Climbed to 4500' MSL and leveled off. Trying to get map etc organized in cockpit. Scanning for traffic, see traffic at 10 O'clock converging. I bank to my right. He sees me when I bank and then he banks to his right. Traffic was single-engine high wing small aircraft. Remember: need to keep more attention outside the plane then one might think is necessary!
