Narrative:
During climb the captain noticed an odd smell in the cockpit and suspected it was coming from the #1 pack. Upon de-selecting the pack the smell immediately dissipated. We requested a level off at FL240. We called dispatch and maintenance and jointly decided we could continue on the remaining pack during this reposition flight to ZZZ1. We received our amended release for FL240 and continued the flight with no issues.
