Narrative:
Suspected GPS jamming event approaching waypoint darix (N3558.0/E4418.2) at fl 340. Noted no GPS available for approximately 1 minute; then became available again for a couple minutes; then no GPS available for approximately 16 minutes until normal GPS signal approaching VOR station srt in turkey. Suspected GPS jamming occurred through an external source.

Title: Air carrier Captain reported experiencing jamming of GPS signal at FL340 while flying in Iraqi airspace.
Narrative: Suspected GPS jamming event approaching waypoint DARIX (N3558.0/E4418.2) at FL 340. Noted no GPS available for approximately 1 minute; then became available again for a couple minutes; then no GPS available for approximately 16 minutes until normal GPS signal approaching VOR station SRT in Turkey. Suspected GPS jamming occurred through an external source.
