Narrative:
On climb out tried to trim aircraft with electric trim switches. My switches were not working so I asked first officer (first officer) to try his; with no success. Accomplished qrc for electric trim inop. Stabilized aircraft and then I transferred control of aircraft so I could call maintenance control. After discussion with dispatch and maintenance control we agreed not an emergency situation and safe to continue on at lower altitudes. Coming into ZZZ we asked ATC if it was possible to not give us large altitude or heading deviations due to the manual trim limitations and lag. ATC supervisor decided to [give us priority handling] and we said that was fine. Landed without any further incident.
