Narrative:

Due to time constraints trying to get a final flight in before the check ride; the student rushed his pre-flight and forgot to remove the tow bar on the front of the plane. I failed to notice it. We did an hour and a half of flight to work on is instrument rating. We landed and parked before we noticed the tow bar was still attached. Thankfully there was no damage to the plane or propeller. Contributing factors included early morning flight. Perceived time constraints and the fact that usually the plane is on the line before we fly.
