Narrative:
Flight being taxied to the gate in phl was on centerline during final approach to the gate. The captain stopped the aircraft because of the very close proximity of aircraft on both sides (parked at gates). The mechanic assigned to assist with parking indicated adequate clearance for continued taxiing, but when the captain began moving forward, contact was made with our right wing tip and the left wing tip of aircraft parked to our right. Minor damage to both aircraft. Supplemental information from acn 165170: I motioned aircraft to (his left) aircraft turned and proceeded fwd.

Title: RIGHT WING TIP OF ACR MLG HIT WING OF ACFT ON ADJACENT GATE WHILE TAXIING IN UNDER DIRECTION OF GND SIGNAL MAN.
Narrative: FLT BEING TAXIED TO THE GATE IN PHL WAS ON CENTERLINE DURING FINAL APCH TO THE GATE. THE CAPT STOPPED THE ACFT BECAUSE OF THE VERY CLOSE PROX OF ACFT ON BOTH SIDES (PARKED AT GATES). THE MECH ASSIGNED TO ASSIST WITH PARKING INDICATED ADEQUATE CLRNC FOR CONTINUED TAXIING, BUT WHEN THE CAPT BEGAN MOVING FORWARD, CONTACT WAS MADE WITH OUR RIGHT WING TIP AND THE LEFT WING TIP OF ACFT PARKED TO OUR RIGHT. MINOR DAMAGE TO BOTH ACFT. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 165170: I MOTIONED ACFT TO (HIS LEFT) ACFT TURNED AND PROCEEDED FWD.
