Narrative:
After reaching cruise altitude; a message from dispatch was received on the ACARS. The message said 'I was just notified by operations that there was dangerous goods loaded - flammable maintenance materials'. The first officer and I were unaware of the hazmat on the airplane until this time. No further action was taken by the crew.
