Narrative:
Aborted a widebody transport at 100 KTS because cockpit window blew open. Locking handle was aft and not forward. It was checked at least twice in this position and thought to be forward. Aircraft needs a warning light for these windows. The aft position looks too close to the forward position.

Title: FO COCKPIT WINDOW CAME OPEN DURING TKOF ROLL. TKOF ABORTED. WINDOW LOCKING HANDLE WAS AFT, NOT FORWARD IN LOCKED POSITION.
Narrative: ABORTED A WDB AT 100 KTS BECAUSE COCKPIT WINDOW BLEW OPEN. LOCKING HANDLE WAS AFT AND NOT FORWARD. IT WAS CHKED AT LEAST TWICE IN THIS POS AND THOUGHT TO BE FORWARD. ACFT NEEDS A WARNING LIGHT FOR THESE WINDOWS. THE AFT POS LOOKS TOO CLOSE TO THE FORWARD POS.
