Narrative:
Aircraft X was flying the KNIK2 SID out of anc. The system initiated a low altitude notification. I issued a low altitude alert to the pilot and advised an immediate left turn and climb. Recommendation: KNIK2 procedure change to include a DME arc not to penetrate during departure. This will give a finite point in space that is unable to be violated; and to preclude confusion about the SID wording by offering a hard boundary as a graphical depiction.
