Narrative:
Upon landing at mfe the nose gear collapsed on touchdown. WX was 300' over better than 3/4 mi visibility at time of incident. Departed crp at XA55Z IFR to mfe at 12000'. WX briefed as 300' overcast drizzle/fog 1/4 mi prior to approach ATC advised an small transport had landed reported 200 plus ceiling ok visibility. Commenced approach with gear down flaps full received updated WX wind 160/130 8 KTS 3006 thought he said visibility/WX improving. Normal ILS sighted runway 13 at 310' MSL/1.8 DME could see hangar east side of runway, 1/2 way down runway and north side of airport terminal. Normal transition to landing, nose came through and next thing happened was that it fell through suddenly. Nose impacted runway, piece of right propeller came through fuselage. No fire occurred. Shut aircraft down with emergency procedures. As the aircraft stopped I exited it from the crew door.
