Narrative:
Flaps 1 max speed was briefly exceeded by 1 knot (241) for approximately 1 second and max altitude for flap extension was exceeded by approximately 6;000 feet (FL260). We discovered the error due to the FMC limiting aircraft speed to 230 kts. Flaps were retracted at the time of discovery. The acms (aircraft condition monitoring system) flaps report recorded a speed of 241 kts; but we don't recall the aircraft approaching that speed due to the FMC restriction. During initial climb ATC cleared us to zzzzz waypoint around the time of flap retraction. Due to the distraction and other ATC communication chatter; we neglected to retract the flaps.
