Narrative:
Got ramp checked this morning by the FAA. Upon examination of my medical; the inspector noted that my first class was coming up for renewal; I told him I'm aware that is due next month; not realizing that it was due the 6th month not the 7th month. Took immediate action and went directly to have my medical renewed.
