Narrative:
As I was coming in to land on 4L in bos; there was a B-767 landing on the parallel side. Just as I was about to flare got hit by a sudden gust of wind; which I thought was the wake turbulence; and instantly added some power to get better control of the airplane. However by then was almost in the flare and airplane touched down with higher speed than planned for; because of which I hit brakes right as I touched. As a result the main gear [tires] on both sides got burned out and lost a lot of rubber at a spot on each of them.
