Narrative:
Dca gate X. Being marshalled; final phase; with only feet to a final stop; I had just shut the number 2 engine down. I lost my forward momentum as my left main settled into a depression in the asphalt. The depression is deep and is right at the transition to concrete at the gate parking pad. I could not get enough thrust on one engine with recommended power settings to taxi out of the depression and over the concrete lip for taxi the last few feet to the desired parking position requiring restarting the number 2 engine.
