Narrative:
An aircraft crossed the runway while our aircraft was on approach. Our aircraft touched down on the runway while the other aircraft was directly in front of us. We applied heavy brakes and was too late for a go around. Fortunately the other aircraft crossed the runway quickly and we were able to avoid impact. My wingtip was very close to the other aircrafts tail section.santa paula airport does not have a control tower. The weather was clear and there were no physical obstruction of our view. Both occupants in our craft were not injured in the incident.
