Narrative:
I, in small transport X, was cleared to taxi from FBO west end of airport north side full length to runway 26R on taxiway bravo (outer). Air carrier Y was cleared to taxi bravo bravo (inner) to runway 26R. Approaching runway at approximately 100' prior to went to tower frequency, advised ready to takeoff. Heard no other aircraft I proceeded into approach end run up staging area observed medium large transport Y passing right to left entering the same area from the inner taxiway directly in my path. Came to abrupt stop as did he. No contact of aircraft occurred and we both checked passengers for injury none occurred. I backed up allowing medium large transport passage and we both executed normal departures. Tower advised they were unable to visly observe this area (cause-complacency, inattention).
