Narrative:
Flight student owns a be-55 baron. While accomplishing an ipc and BFR; a near miss occurred at ZZZ ILS xx on short final. Be-55 was short final; straight in on the ILS xx. At the same time a small cessna turned left base to final for runway xx. Be-55 took evasive action to avoid hitting the cessna on final. After leaving area; be-55 student was given a simulated left engine failure at 3;000 MSL; but dropped down into ZZZ1's airspace. Flight instructor was unable to assist in taking action due to the throw-over yoke or communicate with ATC due to the microphone switch being attached to the throw-over yoke.
