Narrative:
Klbb TRACON cleared me for RNAV (GPS) runway 22; IAF ucepe. I was told 'report when crossing ucepe inbound.' radio communications were good at 5;200 MSL; marginal at 5;100; but communications were lost upon descending to 5;000 ft MSL. Approach and landing were uneventful. Recommend revising this IAP so that the minimum altitude for the approach segment (ucepe through cubky) is 5;200 ft MSL.
