Narrative:
Upon arriving at the airplane we were told by maintenance that the backlight for the rudder trim indicator was inoperative. Maintenance proceeded to troubleshoot and chose to MEL the backlight. Maintenance completed the MEL process and I wrote the MEL as well as our dispatcher's time and initials on the master flightplan but I do not recall if I wrote the same information on the station flightplan. Out of an abundance of caution I decided to file a [report] in the event that I did not properly annotate the station copy.
