Narrative:

During takeoff prior to flap retraction altitude; we received a left engine oil pressure message. I noticed oil gauge was fluctuating and pressure was below 25 psi. We cleaned up the aircraft and contacted ATC we needed to return to airport. After we turned to the airport I assumed radios and called for immediate action items for left engine oil pressure message. Consequently; oil pressure returned above 25 psi and began to fluctuate around 45-50 psi in flight. We [requested priority handling] and returned to the airport for a precautionary landing. Maintenance informed they put in over 4 quarts of oil after inspection. After maintenance topped off oil; we ferried aircraft to ZZZ since oil burn was higher than normal.
