Narrative:
While taxiing to runway xx at ZZZ; I crossed hold short line; announced departure on unicom; [and] proceeded to make a left turn off taxi way [but] made turn too wide. Right main wheel came off black top. The runway black top is approximately 8 in. Above surrounding ground. Surrounding ground is soft sand. Aircraft pulled to [the] right when main gear hit sand. Pulling nose gear off blacktop. Nose gear hit soft sand and sunk in. [Then the] prop struck ground. Aircraft came to rest with right wing touching ground. No other aircraft were involved. Probable speed was 1-2 mph. Turned off master and fuel selector. [Then] called unicom to shut down runway [and] spoke with FAA on phone.
