Narrative:
Just after the first crew break I was called back to the cockpit. The [relief pilot] noticed the left main window arcing and then the cracking of the outer pane. EICAS message of window overheat; following the checklist and turned off the power to the affected window. There was no deforming; bowing; or air leak associated with this window. The flight continued normally to destination. Window got hot.
