Narrative:
During climb to assigned altitude of 2;000 feet MSL; a TCAS warning showed an aircraft approaching from our left within 2 miles. As I was starting to level at 2;000 feet MSL; the TCAS indicated he was at my altitude and on a collision course. I climbed up to approximately 2;200 feet and the target crossed 100 feet below me. I did not see the aircraft. We advised ATC of the evasive action as we returned to 2;000 feet.

Title: C525A Captain reported executing an evasive maneuver when a TCAS Alert activated from traffic approaching within two miles at same altitude.
Narrative: During climb to assigned altitude of 2;000 feet MSL; a TCAS warning showed an aircraft approaching from our left within 2 miles.
