Narrative:
Approximately 30 minutes into the flight; the low voltage light and discharge light illuminated. I completed the checklist items and the lights did not extinguish. I elected to return to ZZZ to have maintenance look at the issue. Upon arrival at ZZZ my aircraft was met by the fire brigade and I was asked to provide my name and telephone number.
