Narrative:

The aircraft I was flying is a small transport, tail wheel, multi-engine aircraft. After breaking out of the clouds, when shooting the ILS runway 25 at mqj. I could see the wind was strong from the north. The ceiling was too low for a circle to land on runway 34, so I prepared for a crosswind landing, after landing the aircraft started to WX vane into the wind. However, the wind started blowing the aircraft toward the left side of the runway. I realized the aircraft was going to go off of the runway, so, I turned it back left and went off of the runway into the snow. The aircraft slowed down and I taxied back on the runway. No damage to runway lights or to the aircraft. Freezing rain and strong crosswind was contributing factor.
