Narrative:
While at cruise my ipad was connected to the aircraft internet and the ipad decided to auto update the content locker app which deleted all the manuals during flight. I had no notice of this from the ipad it just stated doing it. The captain had his manuals on his efb so no impact operationally however I would think there would be a safeguard for this. I wanted to report his so it does not affect other crews.
