Climbing on SID; out of 4;000' for SID limit of 5;000' aircraft speed exceeded 250 knots; auto throttles engaged; flch mode. Disengaged auto-throttles; idle thrust; slowed to below 250 knots. Simultaneously encountered wake turbulence prior to level off from heavy aircraft that had departed parallel runway just prior to our departure.
