Narrative:
I was flying the leg between ZZZ and ZZZ1 on a special flight (ferry) permit. We didn't realize until we were in canadian airspace that our special flight permit excluded foreign airspace. We were already half way through (slightly northeast of london airport) the canadian airspace toward syr when we realized it. The day of we were working on getting the day only lifted from the ferry permit and missed the detail about foreign airspace.in the futures will get together as a crew and read the ferry permit word for word and make sure we have not missed anything.
