Narrative:
Executing a visual approach to runway 28 backing it up with the GPS RNAV 28 approach. When we broke off the approach to align with centerline we got a caution terrain aural. Breaking off the approach too soon. Being unfamiliar with the airport and surroundings. (It was my second time to the field).in the future doing this approach I will be following the approach all the way to minimums before breaking off the approach to line up with centerline.
