Narrative:
While taxiing in at ord I observed a vehicle approaching my aircraft and not stopping. I immediately brought the aircraft to an immediate stop and the vehicle continued. The vehicle eventually stopped about 30 feet from my nose wheel and we had to wait until the vehicle backed up to proceed. I couldn't believe what was happening. It was like the driver was not even looking forward. It was very close to a collision at the intersection of A7 and B taxiways. We immediately notified ground control and she could see the vehicle backing up.
