Narrative:
At around XA30Z, I was working the lit ultra high sector. A corp jet, light transport X, was heading about 170 degrees at FL410. Another corp jet, light transport Y, was heading about 040 degrees at FL410. They were going to conflict in the area of lit VORTAC. When the aircraft were about 6 mins apart I climbed light transport X to FL430 to avoid the conflict. I asked him his climb rate and he stated 500-600 FPM. When the aircraft were about 3 mins apart (45 mi), I noticed light transport X was not climbing at 500 FPM, so I turned light transport X 20 degrees left. I also turned light transport Y 20 degrees left. This vector should have been sufficient, but I decided to turn light transport X to a heading of 140 degrees to ensure sep. When I issued the heading I said, 'light transport Y, fly heading 140 degrees.' I meant to say, 'light transport X, fly heading 140 degrees.' light transport Y reiterated the clearance and wanted verification. I verified the clearance and once again said, 'light transport Y, fly heading 140 degrees.' I lost 5 mi sep while light transport X was out of FL425. It took light transport X 7 mins to climb from FL430, but I made an error in my vector so the operational error is on my record.

Title: ARTCC CTLR CLIMBED AND VECTORED A CORP JET FOR SEPARATION, BUT STILL DIDN'T MAINTAIN LEGAL SEPARATION.
Narrative: AT AROUND XA30Z, I WAS WORKING THE LIT ULTRA HIGH SECTOR. A CORP JET, LTT X, WAS HDG ABOUT 170 DEGS AT FL410. ANOTHER CORP JET, LTT Y, WAS HDG ABOUT 040 DEGS AT FL410.
