Narrative:

Received pre departure clearance via cpdlc with a FMC load prompt for a reroute. Wasn't clear what the change was; but the beginning said direct syrah; which is on the TRUKN2 SID. We loaded the change and that removed tydye; trukn and cosmc. Unsure this was what ATC intended; we called clearance to verify. ATC said no we were to fly the trukn 2 as published.they mentioned other 777 and 787 flying direct syrah on this departure. Something is wrong with the datalink pre departure clearance.
