Narrative:
I was vectored for the ILS 18 at jvy, then descended on the G/south and a jet departed 36. I called the unicom and they said the active was 18. Sdf approach had to turn us off the approach because of sep requirements. I feel the jet should have departed 18 since this was the active runway.

Title: AN UNEXPECTED OPPOSITE DIRECTION TRAFFIC SITUATION AT A NON TWR ARPT CREATES A POTENTIAL CONFLICT.
Narrative: I WAS VECTORED FOR THE ILS 18 AT JVY, THEN DSNDED ON THE G/S AND A JET DEPARTED 36. I CALLED THE UNICOM AND THEY SAID THE ACTIVE WAS 18. SDF APCH HAD TO TURN US OFF THE APCH BECAUSE OF SEP REQUIREMENTS. I FEEL THE JET SHOULD HAVE DEPARTED 18 SINCE THIS WAS THE ACTIVE RWY.
