Narrative:

On descent into msp at transition altitude we set altimeter to 29.80 [but it] was 30.80. With all cross checks; we both missed it. At approximately 1000 ft received an egpws terrain warning. Executed go around. ATC gave us instructions to level at 6;000 feet. Based on the incorrect altimeter setting; we leveled off at 7;000 ft. ATC informed us of deviation. We realized our altimeter error. Reset and returned for normal landing.we have a good crosscheck system. This was just my error.
