Narrative:
Obtained IFR flight plan and clearance GGG V94 and V62 abi to refuel at bil, with IFR flight from abi V66 to maf. Departed elb VFR 4500', arrived longview GGG. Obtained IFR flight plan and clearance GGG V94 abi 6000'. Departed GGG. Between scy and aqn to abi, encountered strong headwinds 40-60 KTS at 6000' with moderate turbulence. Leaving GGG, en route time was 2:50 with 3:35 fuel on board. Calculated time and en route time should have left reserve fuel. Believe it possible that excessively strong wind may have caused some fuel loss in flight. After engine equipment and landed in pasture, fueled right tank with 10 gals AVGAS. Flew to abi, topped off, flew IFR abi direct maf.
