Narrative:
We were cleared for a night visibility approach to runway 17R at den. As we crossed the threshold, just prior to T/D, we could see an aircraft who appeared to cross our runway at approximately 3/4 of the way down the runway. We did not hear the tower give him clearance to cross. We went straight across the runway and was almost clear as we made contact with the runway. In my judgement, it was safer to continue the landing at this point than to attempt a go around, since a go around at that point would have resulted in contacting the runway, anyway. After an uneventful landing and rollout, we contacted the tower supervisor upon our arrival at the gate to advise him of the incident.
