Narrative:
We were at 13;000 feet; 8 miles from zzzzz on the arrival into ZZZ. ATC called traffic and we responded; looking. We saw the traffic on the box showing 400 feet below us and ahead of us. We got an aural traffic alert from the box. Then got RA climb. We complied to climb and got to 13;300 feet. Then heard clear of traffic. Told ATC we got RA and had to climb. When clear; told ATC we were going back down to 13;000 feet.
