Narrative:
I had asked first officer to make sure we didn't miss intersection where we were cleared to turn southwest onto a new arwy. First officer substandard performance. I looked across the INS panel and the first officer's VOR needle had gone through the point needed for making the turn. I made a somewhat steeper turn to try and stay within the 4 mi limits of the arwy. First officer was not helping with the flight operation at this time because due to WX at mem I told the first officer he couldn't make the landing at mem. He got mad and I believe lost control of his thinking. (He said, when I told him he couldn't takeoff or land, 'I am pissed off and tired of this shit,' and slammed his book down. He (first officer) later made 2 more very noticeable mistakes, which I noticed in time. Landing at mem, WX was heavy rain, 800' ceiling, wet runway, and low level wind shear alert. Note: I asked the company for a new first officer at mem. Company removed us and gave me 2 days off. Company said should have not stopped, but just kept going. Next stop was msy overnight.
